We develop and implement solutions for hot end inspection and quality control in order to assist container glass manufacturers in achieving a higher level of forming process control, as thus allowing them meeting their increasing customer expectations and improving their product quality, whilst increasing efficiency levels and also reducing energy levels and carbon emission.
Our product portfolio consists of:
- IR-D, InfraRed Dual camera system for inspection, process monitoring and process control
- XMIS (SQL based information system)
- IGC, Infrared Gob weight Control system, add on to IR-D for automated and high accuracy control of the weight of the gobs
- Gob Assist , for monitoring and controlling the gob loading
Besides these solutions we are in the process of developing a Blank side Temperature Control system and a Hot End Analyzer for absolute dimensional measurement.
All in all we are working on a range of logically related innovative solutions for hot end inspection, process monitoring and quality control.
By providing the hot end operator with real time information, the operator can take corrective and/or preventive action, leading to a reduction in process variation. Less variation in the glass forming process ensures better product quality and greater production efficiency.
In order to let our customers actually benefit from our solutions we have to ensure that the technologies are well implemented. Our consultants, who are experienced glass makers from the industry with 6-sigma background, set up and execute customized implementation programs (training and advice) for the different systems.
