Vitro about to receive three Gob Assists

Vitro, widely considered to be the leading container glass manufacturer in Mexico and one of the largest in the world, has made the decision to install three Gob Assists in January 2012. The three Gob Assists follow the installation of three IR-D’s in September 2011.

The decision to install three Gob Assists and IR-D’s Vitro has to be seen in the context of a broader decision to invest in hot end forming process control, in order to increase process performance and quality. Following this logic it is expected that successful implementation of these systems, will be followed by more orders for more systems.

Vitro manufactures glass containers for the food, beverage, cosmetic, beer, pharmaceutical, and wine and liquor segments.

Vitro has production facilities in Mexico, Central America and in South America, all certified under the ISO-9001 standards.
